Lavender Chicken
Serves 4

4 skinless chicken breast fillets
8 rashers bacon
12 sprigs fresh lavender
Chilli flakes
Salt and pepper
120g of Cheddar cheese, grated
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Place three sprigs of lavender on top of each chicken fillet, and wrap two rashers of bacon around.
Place the chicken into a shallow oven-proof dish and season with salt, pepper and chilli flakes.
Cook on the top shelf of the oven for about 20 minutes, turning once half way through.
Remove from the oven, turn the chicken fillets over again so the lavender is on the top, and sprinkle with the grated cheese. Return to the oven for a further 10 minutes.
Serve immediately with a salad or crispy potatoes and seasonal veg.
